About the Author: Andrew Vietze does his scribbling in the back bedroom of an old Maine farmhouse and a cabin deep in the woods of Baxter State Park. He’s the author of five books and the former managing editor of Down East: The Magazine of Maine.  For six months of each year, he works as a ranger in the wilds of the Katahdin region.
