A photographer and native New Englander, Dan Tobyne has been involved in photography for more than 40 years. In Thoreau's Maine Woods, he captures the essence of the Maine that Thoreau discovered and wrote about in The Maine Woods - his best-selling book after Walden - and the timeless words of Thoreau combine with inspiring images to celebrate the enduring beauty and appeal of the Maine wilderness. This volume is filled with lush photographs paired with well-chosen excerpts from Thoreau's book, The Maine Woods.
Seating is limited - RSVP suggested, but not required.
